      Aoife Fannin, Project Manager

      With a focus on driving intersectional impact through systems change, Aoife has spent the past five years supporting environmental responsibility in the visual arts. As Project Manager at GCC, she is committed to delivering results to create a regenerative future for both people and planet. Before joining GCC, she contributed to interdisciplinary art and ecological programmes at the Eden Project in Cornwall and E-WERK Luckenwalde, a renewable energy and contemporary art centre in Germany.

      Heath Lowndes, Managing Director

      Born and raised in North London, Heath studied Fine Art at Brighton before spending a decade working in artist studios and galleries in London. With a background in arts production and exhibition management, Heath found the perfect way to merge his passions for art and nature through GCC, which he co-founded and has been running as Managing Director since 2020. Heath is always open to collaborating on projects that innovate, inspire creativity, or drive positive change.

      Lula Rappoport, Community Coordinator

      A native of Upstate New York, Lula’s interests lie at the intersection of art, dialogue and social impact. With a diverse background spanning small galleries and nonprofits to institutions and government, she enjoys cultivating creative conversation around contemporary issues. Lula’s degrees in studio art, political science and strategic communications foster her interdisciplinary perspective and prior to joining GCC, she worked on Imperial War Museums’ art commissioning programme.

      Nicola Ferrão, Operations Manager

      Motivated by the climate and inspired by human-centred systems, Nicola landed in London from Toronto and has spent the last decade in the creative and cultural sectors. Marrying practicality and creativity, she enjoys building reflexive operational scaffolding to support projects that spark the imagination and kindle the storytelling needed to navigate our interconnected and rapidly evolving worlds.

    Danny Chivers
    Environmental Policy Advisor and Carbon Footprinting Expert, UK

    Danny is a freelance environmental researcher and climate change consultant. Over the last 20 years, he has worked on sustainability projects for small and large businesses, national and local government, NGOs and the media. He has been the lead external carbon consultant for Oxfam GB and carried out carbon footprinting work for organisations such as the Guardian. He is the author of the "No Nonsense Guide to Climate Change" (2011) and "No-Nonsense Renewable Energy" (2015) and writes a regular climate column for New Internationalist Magazine. He holds an MSc in Nature, Science and Environmental Policy and an MProf in Leadership for Sustainable Development.

    Kim Kraczon
    Specialist in The Use of Alternative Materials in a Fine Art Context, Netherlands

    Kim is a conservator of modern materials and contemporary art specialising in sustainable practices in the art sector. She is the Director of Materials at Ki Culture and lead of GCC's Packaging and Materials Research Group, as well as one of the founding members of GCC Berlin. Kim previously worked as the resident conservator at Studio Olafur Eliasson, where she developed sustainable strategies for production and packing materials. She holds a BA in the Conservation of Modern Materials and Technical Cultural Heritage from the University of Applied Sciences Berlin and is currently pursuing her Master's in the Conservation of Contemporary Art at the University of Amsterdam with a focus on plastics, time-based media, and sustainable practices.
